With options and select instrument you have access to the 8 different instruments in the MIDI file which relate to the respective voices (cf. counterpoint). Instrument 8 is reserved for the voice of the melody (cf. machine). Annotation: JCself requires a General MIDI Sound bank. If this is occupied you can start JCself on a virtual computer if the corresponding sound bank is vacant. |
